Expansion

I recently attended the Silpada Convention in Kansas City – it was an absolute blast! Three thousand women from across the country ran into the exhibit hall at the Kansas City Convention Center on a Friday morning in July to get the best seats at the Silpada Designs convention and believe me I was one of them. The annual convention is always located in Kansas City. This was the first time I ever went and I will be attending each year from now on. Its great to see thousands of women just like you decked out in Silpada Jewelry.

Silpada is really expanding nationally and in June launched its first national advertising campaign with full-page promotions in O, The Oprah Magazine; Glamour; and Self. I can’t even begin to tell you how cool it is to be a part of this. You should too!!!

WAHM

It’s nice to see that other women are starting to become interested in becoming a Silpada Representative! I am one and absolutely LOVE IT!!! There was actually an article written in March about my experience as a representative. Feel free to take a look and see more into how much of a wonderful opportunity it is for women. It also touches on the great partnership between Silpada Designs and The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Which I see was mentioned in a previous post…that wonderful that people are starting to learn about the partnership as well as the jewelry.

Oh, and please keep in mind that even if you are a mother being a representative is still something that you can do if you’re interested! While making sure you still have time for your children. Silpada is great for WAHM’s, which stands for Work At Home Mom’s. It truly is one of the easiest ways to have your own business.

Find Out How Here...

I too have been hearing a lot lately on Silpada Designs and the wonderful sterling silver jewelry they make. From the very second I heard about it I wanted to learn more. Not only did I want to buy numerous items from the collection they have but I also wanted to figure out how to try to become an individual representative. But I had NO idea where to get started. So I thought that incase anyone else is in my position I would help them with sharing the two links that I found that are helping me get my foot in the door as a representative. If you are interested take a look at the section of Silpada’s homepage or take a look at an outsiders look on how to best become a representative.

Yay for the Bachelor

I had previously never heard of Silpada until just recently. You guys have really been getting your name out there in various different ways haven’t you? I just read the other day that you partnered with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) in its mission to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research. As a result, for every Polishing Cloth sold between July 1, 2005, and June 30, 2006, Silpada Designs, in conjunction with its independent Representatives, will donate $1.00 to JDRF. The Silpada Designs 10" x 8" cotton fabric cloth retails for $5.00 and is specially treated and designed to polish Silver, Gold and Platinum jewelry. I thought this was such a cool idea to reach out to the community and also be able to get your name out there.

Then last week I was watching an episode of “The Bachelor”, which I LOVE!!! (Please tell me you agree that he is so hot?!?) Anyways, back to the point, each of the bachelorettes received a complimentary necklace and earrings from Silpada. They were absolutely beautiful! It makes me want to go out and buy something. Way to get your name out there! Good work!

Welcome!

Welcome to the Silpada Designs Blog! This is Bonnie Kelly and Teresa Walsh. We are the proud founders of Silpada Designs. We would like to give you a little information on our history and what the company is. Please feel free to visit our website and take a look around. We first met when the oldest of each of our three children started first grade. We both signed up to be room mothers and immediately became the best of friends. After chatting about how we could earn a little extra cash, we tried a few new business ideas until we each took $25 from our grocery fund and pursued our passion for Sterling Silver Jewelry that we really began to love our “jobs.” We started designing our own jewelry creations and hosting what we called “A Fun Ladies’ Night out Playing Dress-up with Jewelry!”™ In 1997, after hundreds of successful parties, we began our journey and Silpada Designs was born. We created an exclusive line of Silpada Designs .925 Sterling Silver Jewelry and our very first Silpada Designs Catalog. Friends and Customers became independent Silpada Designs Representatives, and we realized our dream of running our own business.

Today, there are thousands of independent Representatives across the nation chasing their dreams. We're happy to say that our basement-born business is helping to bring each of their dreams to life. Our story goes to show that with a little passion and a sincere desire to help others, anything is possible.
